ALTERNATIVE TO POLITICS AS USUAL

SUMMARY OF RON MULLINS AS COUNTY COMMISSIONER

Ron Mullins when elected to Grays Harbor County Commissioner District -1 (Democrat) will become  responsible for overseeing the administration of Grays Harbor County government. By serving on a 3 member board of commissioners that is the legislative and executive body of Grays Harbor County. As Commissioner representing District 1 of Grays Harbor County it’s my duty to enact ordinances, adopt budgets & manage our County’s resources. As the County Commissioner I’ll acquire verity of duties, including setting policy, managing budgets, & over seeing the delivery of essential services. Which is my goal to ensure the efficient & effective operation of Grays Harbor County government by working closely with all elected officials, department heads and staff.

I/Ron Mullins see as my primary responsibility as County Commissioner is to develop & approve the annual budget. Which would require reviewing funding requests from all the departments and various agencies, analyzing revenue projections & making decisions on how to allocate resources to best serve the needs of Grays Harbor County. As for being the next Grays Harbor County Commissioner from District-1, I will play a key role in land use planning & zoning.

Which I will decide for either approving or denying zoning changes, conditional use permits & other land use decisions that impact the development & growth of Grays Harbor County. After more than 45 plus years of Real Estate investment, Business Operations (Motel, Mobile Home Park),

Timber Industry & Wholesale Fish Industry; I surely know the importance of making the right decisions.

As the next County Commissioner from District-1 I’ll represent the interest of my constituents. By attending public meetings, (Very Important) listening to concerns & advocating for policies & initiatives that benefit all the communities within
Grays Harbor no matter of party affiliation.

In addition to the legislative duties within Grays Harbor County government very likely I would serve on various boards & committees, such as but not limited to: economic development, transportation & public safety. Given these additional roles I/Ron Mullins as Grays Harbor County Commissioner will allow me to collaborate with other local, regional & state agencies to address issues that affect Grays Harbor County & the entire State of Washington residents.

Which I/Ron Mullins will be successful in ensuring the smooth operation of Grays Harbor County government & to make sure the decisions that I make will improve the quality of life to all of Grays Harbor residence. This is the reason why I have decided not to take any money in our campaign from any individuals or organizations. This will help assure that all the decision made while being County Commissioner are truly based on what I believe is the best for the residence of Grays Harbor and not for who may have done what for whom.

Through my faith in God and Prayer I asked for your Vote & by voting for Ron Mullins Grays Harbor County Commissioner District-1 (Democrat) is truly alternative to Politics as Usual.

Thank you,

Ron Mullins, Candidate for Grays Harbor County Commissioner
District-1 (Democrat)

Policies to Promote

Approximately 20 years ago while I was Grays Harbor County Hospital Commissioner Myself, Ron Mullins and the other two Commissioners passed a policy that is still in affect today that helped our entire community.

When you go to the hospital to receive any type of medical service the portion of the property taxes for the pervious two years that went to the hospital district would be deducted from your medical bill.

When elected I would like to work with the other two County Commissioner to pass the same type of policy that we did for the Hospital District. When you go to get a building permit the portion that goes to the County for your property taxes for
the pervious two years could be deducted from the cost of the building permit.

With Environmental Health too when you apply for a septic tank permit after the soils are identified and property has been assessed for set back the County would provide to the property owner the design of the septic system reducing the costs of the engineering of the system. Soils are soils & setbacks are setbacks.

Other counties do these practice and no reason why Grays Harbor County can’t either.

This would truly serve the residence of Grays Harbor in a positive way.
